WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? DO YOU TRAVEL?

I am based in Northwest Indiana and I do a lot of work in the Chicago area as well. And, heck yes you can bring me wherever your heart desires. If you’re having a destination wedding or elopement. You just need to cover a flat rate fee that includes a plane ticket, a car rental, and a 2 night stay at a hotel near the event. Travel rate varies depending on location I research average prices for that specific location, and calculate the flat rate based on that. That rate is then added to your package of choice.

HOW MANY PHOTOS ARE INCLUDED?

For weddings, I deliver a MINIMUM of 75 images per hour of coverage. For sessions, I deliver a minimum of 75 images. for either of those, I don’t put a cap on the maximum. Each wedding and session is different and I won’t leave any goodness out. I work hard to deliver my best work to you, and you’ll get nothing less than the best.

DO YOU OFFER PRINTS, ALBUMS, AND OTHER STATIONARY?

Yes. I do not include them in my packages but it is available a la carte once I deliver your gallery. Once you receive it, there is an online store connected to it from which you can design albums, cards, order prints, frames, canvases, and many more. The printing labs my gallery platform works with are extremely professional, and the quality is amazing. But if you prefer, you also have the option of downloading your digital images and printing, or ordering stationary from a different lab. I would not recommend printing your images at Walgreens or somewhere similar. The colors and quality won’t be the same, and as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

MY PARTNER DOESN’T FEEL COMFORTABLE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA. NOW WHAT?

One thing that you need to remember is that I am not photographing models, I am photographing real people. And real people are always a bit uncomfortable in front of the camera. Some more than others, true. And I will do everything in my power to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible. Engagement sessions are always a great way to break that ice and practice for your wedding day. That is exactly why I offer it as a complimentary item in every wedding package. I want to get to know you, and I want you to know me, and feel completely comfortable on your big day. In the beginning of the session, you may feel a little awkward, but trust me, as we keep going you will feel less and less awkward and it will just feel like you were hanging out with each other and having fun. Music always helps a lot, and I will ask you to send me your favorite Spotify list to play your favorite songs. Also, if you’d like to grab a drink before we start or even sip some wine during our session, feel free to do so. I have heard many times from couples that they don’t feel comfortable in front of the camera, or that they are not photogenic, and by the end of the session they are having so much fun that they even forget about all that. Being photogenic is not a requirement because i am not photographing a posed version of yourself. I am photographing your genuine reactions, your authentic self, and your real story.

CAN WE GET ALL THE PHOTOS YOU SHOT IN YOUR CAMERA AND UNEDITED IMAGES?

Absolutely not, no exceptions ever. Think of it as me giving you unwrapped candy. Photography is so much more than just taking photos. It’s art, and my editing is a HUGE part of my art. That is why it is SO important that you love the photographer’s editing style. The photos I deliver to you will reflect your story and also my work. That means I will deliver all the good stuff but not all of the images will make the cut and I need your trust me on this. I promise I won’t leave anything out and give you a collection of images you’ll cherish forever.

HOW DOES THE PAYMENT PROCESS WORK?

For weddings I require $1,000 to be put down as a non refundable retainer at the time of booking and signing of contract. The remaining balance of the package you choose is due 30 days (1 month) prior to your wedding day. For tiny weddings + elopements, a $500 non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking and signing of contract, and remaining balance due a month prior to the event. For sessions, a $200 non-refundable retainer is required to book, with the remaining balance due 2 days prior to your session.

WHAT IF WE HAVE TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE?

In case of cancellations, the non-refundable retainer you put down at the time of booking is non-refundable. Please know I am not trying to steal or money or be unfair. But when you book me and pay for the retainer, I am already counting on that money to pay for my expenses. If you need to reschedule, I offer a one time rescheduling policy where you can schedule a new date within 6 months from the original date for weddings, and 3 months from the original date for sessions, without paying for a new booking retainer. If you need to reschedule for a farther date OR more than once, a new non-refundable retainer is required.

WHO IS YOUR SECOND SHOOTER?

I have a few I like to work with and reach out when I need one. Photographers prefer booking their own weddings so I don’t hire one until a few months before the wedding. This is another thing I humbly ask you to trust me on. I only hire trustworthy and talented photographers with similar style to mine.
